Les Ferdinand says Tottenham Hotspur showed a different side to their character as they dug in to claim victory at in-form Crystal Palace on Wednesday night.

Spurs had to be patient at Selhurst Park and Christian Eriksen's superb strike with 12 minutes to go means they are four points behind Premier League leaders Chelsea with five matches to play.

"We've been spoilt by some of the performances that Spurs have put in this season and it's good to see them having the mettle to grind out a result," says Ferdinand.
