Josh Maja scored both of his side's goals at the Stadium of Light as Sunderland twice came from behind to draw 2-2 and deny Leicester City a victory that would have taken them out of the Division 1 relegation zone.

Admiral Muskwe rounded Max Stryjek on five minutes to give Leicester the lead before Maja chipped the hosts level shortly before half-time.

Six minutes into the second period Muskwe restored Leicester's lead, but Maja made it 2-2 with a penalty after Ethan Robson had been brought down.

Leicester, who next host Manchester United in PL2 on 10 April, are 11th, on 18 points with four matches left to play.

They are only four points off Sunderland, who are sixth, having played a match more. The bottom two sides will be relegated.
