The fixtures for the 2022/23 Premier League 2 season have been released, with champions Manchester City beginning their title defence at Liverpool.
Man City are looking to win the competition for the third season in a row, having finished six points clear of West Ham United last term, and will open their campaign against the Reds on Sunday 7 August.
The age group for players from the 2022/23 season is Under-21, changing from Under-23 to reflect the age of players in the competition, where the current average is 19.
The change comes as part of an ongoing review of the Elite Player Performance Plan (EPPP) to better align with the EFL Trophy and international competitions.
Birmingham City, Burnley and Reading will not be taking part in PL2 this season, meaning Division 2 will have 11 clubs.
