Salomon Rondon

West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis will assess a number of players, including defender Jonny Evans.

Manchester United's Eric Bailly will miss out with a knee injury but Chris Smalling could be fit having been sidelined since October.

Henrikh Mkhitaryan (ankle) and Luke Shaw (leg) are both out, though Antonio Valencia is available following a suspension.

Did you know?

West Bromwich Albion have won three of their last six league meetings with Manchester United (W3 D1 L2) – this after previously going 18 league matches without a victory against them (D3 L15).

West Brom have scored a joint league-high nine headed goals this season (the most along with Crystal Palace).

Wayne Rooney has scored seven goals and assisted four more in his last nine Premier League appearances against West Bromwich Albion.

Rooney needs one more goal on his travels in the Premier League to become the competition's all-time top goalscorer in away matches. He is on 87 alongside Alan Shearer.

What the managers say
