Second-half goals by Lewis Richardson and Dara Costelloe helped Burnley rescue a point against Norwich City, leaving the Clarets fourth in Division 2.
They are three points ahead of Middlesbrough in sixth, who sit just outside the playoffs but have two matches in hand.
