Danny Ings and Nathan Redmond are both in contention for Southampton, who have a fully-fit squad available to face Sheffield United.

Enda Stevens, Lys Mousset and Ethan Ampadu will be monitored by Sheff Utd before a decision is made about their availability.

Did you know?

Southampton have scored at least twice in their last six Premier League home matches, their longest such run in the competition, while they have struck exactly three times in all three of their PL home matches against Sheffield United.

Danny Ings has been directly involved in eight goals in eight PL matches this season, the most of any Saints player, after six strikes and two assists. He has only failed to score or assist in one of his last seven appearances in the competition, versus West Bromwich Albion in October.

Sheff Utd are trying to avoid becoming the first team since QPR in 2012 to be winless after 12 PL matches.

Since the start of last season, Oliver McBurnie has scored more PL goals than any other Sheff Utd player, with seven. He netted his first of the season last time out against Leicester City but has never scored in consecutive appearances in the competition.
