Team news

New signings Danny Rose, Nabil Bentaleb and Valentino Lazaro are in contention for Newcastle, but Andy Carroll (hip) is a doubt.

Jonjo Shelvey, Javier Manquillo and Dwight Gayle (all hamstring), Emil Krafth (ankle), Jetro Willems (knee), Yoshinori Muto (hip) and Paul Dummett (tendon) are ruled out.

Norwich have Emiliano Buendia (thigh), Todd Cantwell (hamstring) and Ibrahim Amadou (knee) back, although Daniel Farke says the match will be "too intense" for all three to feature.

Ben Godfrey (suspended) and long-term absentee Timm Klose (knee) remain unavailable.
