The Fantasy Premier League experts have used their two free transfers for Gameweek 23.

Having saved a transfer in Gameweek 21, the experts had two free trades to use for their FPL Experts Panel Team.

They have brought in Danny Ings (£6.8m) and Andrew Robertson (£7.0m) ahead of Saturday's 11:30 GMT deadline.

Ings demand

Southampton forward Ings has been in prolific form, scoring 10 goals in his last 10 starts.

He is the most-bought player in the Gameweek, earning over 309,000 new owners for his home match with Wolverhampton Wanderers.

His appeal is further boosted by Saints' kind schedule. According to the Fixture Difficulty Ratings (FDR), six of their next eight matches score just two.

Robertson's arrival comes with one eye on Liverpool's Double Gameweek 24 against Wolves and West Ham United.

The Scot joins team-mates Trent Alexander-Arnold (£7.5m) and Sadio Mane (£12.4m) to complete the experts' quota of three Reds players.

Makeweights

Raul Jimenez (£7.5m) and Diego Rico (£4.4m) are the players making way.

Jimenez has blanked in three successive Gameweeks ahead of a tough run of matches for Wolves. Four of their next six score four in the FDR.

Rico departs following a total of one point over the last five Gameweeks. He was an unused substitute as AFC Bournemouth lost at home to Watford on Sunday.

Jamie Vardy (£10.0m) will be the experts' captain for Gameweek 23.

The Leicester City forward visits a Burnley side who have lost their last four matches and conceded eight goals in that run.

Kevin De Bruyne (£10.7m) will be the team's vice-captain as Manchester City entertain Crystal Palace.

The Belgian is the leading points-scorer in FPL and has six double-figure hauls this season, four of them coming at home.

What the experts say

Mark McGettigan (@FPLGeneral): Ings has been hurting us for too long. Better late than never, right? Robertson comes in as our easiest route to a third Liverpool player for the double. We won't miss Rico!

Ben McNair (@drbenmcnair): Ings's form is no secret and it's time we got him in. Jimenez is the one to make way, as our budget striker Neal Maupay (£5.9m) has juicy fixtures over the next few weeks. Robertson comes in as our third Liverpool player ahead of their double in Gameweek 24. He and Alexander-Arnold look by far the best defenders to own long-term, both in terms of clean sheets and attacking returns.

Holly Shand (@FFCommunity_): Ings is bordering on essential right now and with Liverpool's Double Gameweek looming, plus Rico losing his place, a move for Robertson is logical.

Sam Bonfield (@FPLFamily)With Rico's benching in Gameweek 22 and AFC Bournemouth's poor form it makes sense to lose him for Robertson, who has the double. Swapping Jimenez for an in-form Ings should also bring good points returns. I would have preferred to splash all our money on Roberto Firmino (£9.3m) but spreading it around seems wise.

Lee Bonfield (@FPLFamily): Liverpool's recent defensive solidity means a start for Robertson in the panel team, with a view to Liverpool's Double Gameweek. Rico makes way, with AFC Bournemouth badly out of form right now and looking like relegation candidates. Ings simply has to come in ahead of a decent-looking home game against an inconsistent Wolves. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Southampton man push Vardy for the Golden Boot this season, as Saints' fixtures look really nice for a number of weeks.
