AFC Bournemouth can move within a point of 11th-placed Arsenal with a home win.

Mikel Arteta will be aiming to secure the Gunners' first victory in three matches as he makes debut as the club's head coach.

Team news

Diego Rico (suspended) has joined AFC Bournemouth's lengthy list of absentees, and Eddie Howe says a couple of unnamed players are doubts. Nathan Ake (hamstring) is not yet ready to return.

Arsenal will assess the fitness of Hector Bellerin, Gabriel Martinelli and Dani Cellabos (all hamstring) plus Rob Holding (knee).

Mesut Ozil and Sokratis are available for selection but Calum Chambers (suspended) joins Kieran Tierney (shoulder) and Sead Kolasinac (ankle) on the sidelines.
