2004: Birmingham City 4-1 Leeds United

Bryan Hughes and Mikael Forssell both scored twice as Birmingham City came from behind to beat relegation-threatened Leeds United at St Andrew’s.

Mark Viduka opened the scoring for Leeds before Hughes equalised from six yards out and he then put the hosts ahead after finishing a neat lay-off by Stan Lazaridis.

A cool finish by Forssell from a long clearance extended the Blues’ lead and the striker doubled his tally for the afternoon from the penalty spot after Stephen Caldwell fouled Clinton Morrison.

The visitors remained in the relegation zone with just eight PL matches left on 25 points in 19th.

Birmingham moved up to sixth with 45 points, level with Newcastle United.
