Young people on Liverpool Foundation's Premier League Works course had a chance to meet Simon Mignolet recently at a special event at Anfield.

PL Works, delivered in partnership with the Professional Footballers' Association and The Prince's Trust, engages and supports young people who are not involved in education, training or employment, and participants on the course had the chance to chat with the Liverpool goalkeeper at the Reducate education centre, based in the Kop stand.

"It is brilliant to visit Anfield to meet those involved with the programme," said Mignolet. "This programme acts as a great platform for youngsters wanting to develop themselves further in a positive, encouraging environment."

PL Works is delivered by 26 clubs, who provide intensive one-to-one and group work which focuses on the needs of each individual, helping them to develop their personal and social skills and giving them the confidence and experience they need to make a positive transition back into education, access training or gain meaningful employment.
