With Double Gameweeks galore on the horizon, Fantasy Premier League managers on the lookout for forwards to make the difference in their mini-leagues should be turning to Sergio Aguero (£11.8m).
That is the view of FPL expert Mark McGettigan, who thinks the Manchester City striker not returning to South America for international duty is something Fantasy managers cannot ignore ahead of a Double Gameweek 32 against lowly Fulham and Cardiff City.
“He’s got two weeks to put his feet up and it’s those fixtures when he comes back,” McGettigan says. ”He’s the first name on my Free Hit squad and possibly will get the captaincy over [Raheem] Sterling.”
Looking beyond Double Gameweek 32, McGettigan believes Aguero can continue to deliver and is not at risk of rotation, putting him ahead of other strikers such as Harry Kane (£12.5m) and Romelu Lukaku (£10.8m).
“The way the title race is panning out, City have to play their strongest team every week and Aguero is in that team. I expect him to start the majority of games between now and the end of the season.”
