Battle for safety: Fulham

West Ham United are searching for their first win in five matches since beating Arsenal, while Fulham will be hoping to recover from back-to-back defeats as they continue their battle against relegation.

Team news

Manuel Lanzini is in contention to make his first appearance of the season for West Ham after recovering from a serious knee injury sustained just before the 2018 World Cup.

Samir Nasri (calf) has also recovered and may be included in the squad but Jack Wilshere remains sidelined with an ankle injury.

Alfie Mawson (knee) started rehabilitation this week and is the only absentee for Fulham.

Did you know?

West Ham were 2-0 winners in the reverse fixture in December and are looking to complete the league double over Fulham for the first time since 2008/09.

This will be Fulham’s first Premier League match played on a Friday since Boxing Day 2008, when they drew 0-0 at Tottenham Hotspur.

The home side has never lost in eight previous PL London derbies played on a Friday, winning five and drawing three.

Fulham are the only Premier League team without an away win this season.
