Jack Clarke struck late as Aston Villa came from behind to beat Southampton.
After a goalless first half Villa defender Luke Ige put Southampton in front, turning Will Smallbone’s cross into his own net.
Saints’ lead lasted only 10 minutes as Rushian Hepburn-Murphy levelled the scores from 20 yards.
With two minutes of normal time remaining Clarke converted Colin Odutayo’s cross at the back post to take the points that ensure Villa stay fifth on 20 points, a point and a place behind Southampton.
