Dan Ward scored in either half as Middlesbrough edged past Norwich City 3-2 at Carrow Road to move up to seventh in Premier League 2 Division 2.
The visitors took the lead on 31 minutes, when Ward kept his composure to slot past Aston Oxborough and just a minute later it was 2-0 when Tyrone O’Neill headed in.
Ward made it 3-0 with his second of the match when he fired into the top corner, but Isak Thorvaldsson's lobbed effort pulled a goal back for the Canaries.
Thorvaldsson then turned provider, playing in Josh Coley to curl in from outside the area, but Norwich were unable to grab a third as Boro held on.
Victory moves Boro into seventh on 25 points, while Norwich, without a win in their last three matches, are 10th on 19 points.
