Antonio Conte has made an immediate impact at Stamford Bridge and while two Chelsea players have stolen the headlines, the form of another has played a key part.

The Blues went into the international break with a 3-0 home victory over Burnley, maintaining their 100% record since the Italian's appointment as head coach.

That early-season form has been spearheaded by the resurgent duo of Eden Hazard (£10.2m) and Diego Costa (£9.7m), who after disappointing campaigns, have stepped up in consistency and produced a goal or assist in each of the first three Gameweeks.

Hazard's dominant displays have steered him to the top of the Fantasy Premier League standings on 25 points. As a result, he is the most popular midfielder in the game, with an ownership in excess of 31%.

The Belgian's showings have ensured that Willian (£7.4m) – another of Chelsea's scorers against the Clarets – remains largely overlooked by FPL managers, sitting in just 7% of squads.

A delve into the data indicates the Brazilian could also be set to flourish under Conte.

Willian, Chesea
Only three midfielders have created more than Willian's eight chances in the PL this season

Despite missing the Gameweek 2 clash with Watford, Willian has created eight chances this term. Only three midfielders have managed more.

His minutes per key pass have improved from 35.5 in 2015/16, when he served up 10 assists, to 19.6 minutes. No player with more than 45 minutes of action this season has created chances for team-mates faster than Willian.

Given that Hazard has supplied a scoring chance for every 43.7 minutes on the opposite flank, the Brazilian’s creativity in the final third looks vital.

Willian has also upped his frequency of goal attempts in 2016/17. He scored five times in the previous campaign, firing in an effort every 47.9 minutes. This has improved to 39.3 minutes and his accuracy has also caught the eye, with three of his four attempts on target.

Next up for Chelsea is a trip to the Liberty Stadium on Sunday against a Swansea side who have conceded nine big chances this term – no side have allowed more – and lost their previous home match 2-0 to Hull City.

Having enjoyed significant investment ahead of Gameweek 4, Hazard and Costa may be the popular picks among Conte's attack, yet Willian's progress indicates he will be in the points should Chelsea continue their perfect start.
