Fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur are targeting a seventh victory from eight Premier League matches as they host their third-placed London rivals Chelsea, who are seeking to maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign.

Team news

Davinson Sanchez (hamstring) is out for Spurs but the centre-back's injury coincides with the return to full training of Jan Vertonghen.

Fellow defenders Kieran Trippier (groin) and Danny Rose (groin) are sidelined, with midfielder Mousa Dembele (ankle) also unavailable.

Chelsea head coach Maurizio Sarri suggested some players returned from international duty with minor knocks but said there were "no big problems" on the injury front.

Spurs have a chance to secure a second consecutive league victory over Chelsea for the first time since August 1987.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side have won just 22 per cent of their PL points in home matches this season, with six out of 27, the lowest ratio in the division.

Dele Alli has scored five goals in his last four matches against Chelsea in all competitions.

Chelsea have kept 21 PL clean sheets against Spurs, which is their joint-best record, having achieved the same feat against Everton and Newcastle United.
