Arsenal are aiming to maintain their strong run of home form against Leicester City, and their win rate in the month of October.

Claude Puel's side, meanwhile, are seeking to get back on track after a defeat to Everton before the international break.

Team news

Arsenal trio Danny Welbeck (hamstring), Mesut Ozil (back spasm) and Ainsley Maitland-Niles (fibula) have all returned to full training.

Sokratis (ankle) and Petr Cech (hamstring) will be assessed on Monday.

Leicester City midfielder Demarai Gray (ankle) could be available for Monday night while Matty James (Achilles) is closing in on a first-team return.

Defender Caglar Soyuncu is ready to play when the time is right, according to manager Claude Puel.

Did you know?

Arsenal have never lost a Premier League home match against Leicester City (P12 W11 D1 L0) and have won the last 11 in a row. They have only bettered that run once in the top flight, beating Stoke City in 13 successive home matches between 1983 and 2018.

The Gunners have won more PL matches and points in the month of October than any other side, winning 59 times and amassing 200 points. Their win rate of 63 per cent in October is better than in any other month.

Leicester have won two of their last three PL away matches, as many as they won in their previous 11 on the road (W2 D1 L8). But the Foxes are winless in their last seven league matches in London (D3 L4), since beating West Ham in March 2017.

Jamie Vardy has scored six goals in as many PL starts against Arsenal, including a brace at Emirates Stadium on the opening day of the 2017/18 season. He has had a hand in 34 goals in 46 PL appearances against last season’s top-six sides, with 27 goals and seven assists.
