Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker showed off his Brazilian flair against Brighton & Hove Albion at the weekend, flicking the ball over the onrushing Anthony Knockaert in his side’s 1-0 home win.

His manager Jurgen Klopp admitted after the match he was not a big fan of the trick, but added: "I've never had a Brazilian goalkeeper. Probably you buy that as well."

As Liverpool prepare to visit Leicester City on Saturday, Premier League goalscoring greats Ian Wright and Alan Shearer have warned Alisson might not be able to get away with any more flamboyance.

"When you see a goalkeeper do this, the first thing I'm thinking is, 'I'm going to get you at some stage,' " Wright says in the video above.

"[As strikers] we’re thinking, 'He'll give you a chance' because he'll do stuff like that.

"If you put him under pressure he'll try to get himself out of it with skill, which we've seen he's got. But that makes me think, 'I'm going to put him under pressure because he’ll try something.'"

Shearer also saw the opportunity for opposing strikers.

"You’ll be watching what he did and you won’t go for that dummy again," the Premier League's leading goalscorer says.

"It's brilliant confidence, great when it comes off, but as a forward we're watching and saying, 'Come on, do that next week.'"
