Zlatan Ibrahimovic (£11.7m) and Sergio Aguero (£13.1m) are again the leading armband contenders for the weekend ahead.

Both players netted twice in the previous round of fixtures and also collected maximum bonus points, maintaining their status at the top of the Fantasy Premier League standings on 22 points apiece.

Ibrahimovic has managed only five attempts by comparison, with three from close-range, though the arrival of Paul Pogba (£8.5m) boosted his presence inside the box against Southampton last time out.

The Manchester United frontman makes his way to Hull City on Saturday evening.

Aguero welcomes West Ham United to the Etihad on Sunday, with the visitors still licking their wounds from Thursday's surprise UEFA Europa League exit.

Rested for Manchester City's midweek UEFA Champions League outing, Aguero has produced more attempts (10) and shots inside the box (nine) than any frontman and scored two goals in his previous encounter with Slaven Bilic's side.

There are some convincing alternatives.

Chelsea's Eden Hazard (£10.1m) has delivered a goal and assist in two appearances under Antonio Conte.

Currently sitting in 24% of FPL teams, the Belgian seems revitalised since the change of manager and his raids down the left could prosper against a visiting Burnley side that have conceded more chances and crosses down their right flank than any other.

Diego Costa (£9.6m) will also be looking to profit against the Championship winners. The Spain international has netted in both opening fixtures, though has registered only four attempts on goal to Hazard's seven.

Leicester City's Riyad Mahrez (£9.5m) will be hoping that history repeats itself as Swansea City roll up to the King Power Stadium. The Algerian - who notched four times against the Swans last season - is second only to Adam Lallana (£7.1m) for shots inside the box from midfield.

Southampton will be banking on Dusan Tadic (£7.4m) and Nathan Redmond (£6.1m) to get the better of Sunderland at St Mary's.

Both players are ranked in the ICT Index top 10 for the season so far, with scores of 24.6 and 20.6 respectively.

Tadic has produced eight attempts on goal and as many key passes thanks to his new role at the tip of a midfield diamond.

Redmond, meanwhile, has been moved up front by new manager Claude Puel and scored in his previous home appearance. He leads Tadic by five shots inside the box to three and faces a defence that was ranked bottom for goals against on their travels in 2015/16.
