Chelsea came from behind to beat Birmingham City 3-2 on the opening weekend and extend their run of unbeaten home league matches to 64, setting a top-flight record.
Birmingham's Mikael Forssell opened the scoring against his former club in the 15th minute, but Claudio Pizarro quickly levelled and Florent Malouda then put the hosts ahead.
Olivier Kapo equalised for the visitors in the 36th minute, but Michael Essien struck decisively after half-time.
2011: Jose Enrique joins Liverpool
Jose Enrique joined Liverpool from Newcastle United and was thrown straight into the action, making his debut the following day in a 1-1 draw against Sunderland.
In the April of his first season the Spanish full-back was forced to play in goal for the final minutes of a match against Newcastle, after Pepe Reina was sent off.
Enrique, who won the League Cup with Liverpool in 2011/12, spent five seasons at Anfield and made 76 Premier League appearances.
