Leicester City's Matty James will miss the rest of the season after having surgery on his Achilles tendon earlier this week.

Wilfred Ndidi is suspended and Daniel Amartey (hamstring) is not yet ready to return.

Newcastle United have no fresh injury worries. Joselu has recovered from an ankle injury and should be available.

On loan striker Islam Slimani is unavailable for selection against his parent club.

Leicester have won their last four PL matches against Newcastle and can make it five in a row against a single club for the first time in the Premier League era.

The Foxes have scored 90th-minute goals in their last three PL matches. Only Arsenal have done so in four consecutive outings, back in March 2010. In total, Leicester have scored six 90th-minute PL goals this season, the joint-highest tally along with Watford and Manchester City.

Newcastle are targeting a third successive PL victory, a feat they last achieved in September.

Having scored twice and provided an assist, Newcastle midfielder Kenedy has been directly involved in three goals in his last two PL matches. That is more than in his previous 21 appearances, when he registered one goal and one assist.
