Savvas Mourgos scored twice in the first half as Norwich City defeated West Bromwich Albion 2-0 to keep the pressure on those teams in the Division 2 play-off places.
Mourgos, pictured, curled in a superb free-kick for the opener and converted a rebound to double the lead.
January signing Ali Gabr made his debut for the Baggies and had a header disallowed for offside, as did team-mate Alex Bradley before the break.
The result leaves the Canaries in seventh, only one point behind fifth-placed Brighton & Hove Albion, who occupy the final play-off spot. West Brom are six points adrift of 11th-placed Newcastle United.
