AFC Bournemouth striker Jermain Defoe has been ruled out for eight to 10 weeks after suffering a fracture of his right ankle in Wednesday's Carabao Cup quarter-final defeat at Chelsea.

Did you know?

An AFC Bournemouth player has scored a hat-trick in both of their Premier League victories against West Ham United: Callum Wilson in August 2015 and Joshua King in March 2017.

The away side won both fixtures between these sides in the 2015/16, while the home side were victors in both matches last season.

West Ham are aiming to win consecutive Premier League away matches for the first time since February.

Only Robbie Fowler (9), Alan Shearer, Robbie Keane (both 8) and Thierry Henry (7) have scored more PL goals on Boxing Day than Jermain Defoe's six.
