Michael Owen says Liverpool will face a striker with no weaknesses when they take on Harry Kane on Sunday.

"Harry Kane's had an exceptional few seasons," Owen says. "He's going to be the player Liverpool are going to have to watch most carefully. His sheer size and all his attributes he's got.

"When I watch Kane I don’t think he's 10 out of 10 at any one thing, but he's 9 out of 10 at virtually everything. He has no weaknesses.

"He's got so many different attributes that he can play the game any way it suits Spurs.

"He's good at the link-up play and getting into the box. It's not just on the ground it's in the air as well.

“So no matter which way you've always got to be on your guard when you're playing against him."

Owen, who scored 150 Premier League goals, believes the back-to-back Golden Boot winner is destined for even greater achievements.

"Kane's fast-approaching becoming one of the elite strikers the Premier League has ever seen," he says.
