Roy Hodgson says one of his first tasks after being appointed manager of Crystal Palace will be restoring the form of the team’s attack.
Palace have yet to score in their four defeats in the Premier League this season but Hodgson sees encouragement in how Wilfried Zaha, Christian Benteke and Andros Townsend performed in 2016/17.
Once Zaha is fully recovered from injury, Hodgson will aim to get the three working together to replicate the danger they posed to opposing defences in the spring of this year.
"There's no doubt that at the end of last season the trio of Zaha, Townsend and Benteke were a threat," Hodgson told Palace TV.
"We must try to work hard to make certain that we can bring that threat back."
