Chelsea have reached an agreement with Real Madrid to sign Alvaro Morata, the striker.
The move is subject to the Spaniard agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.
Morata, 24, helped Real to lift a second successive UEFA Champions League last season, and scored 20 goals in all competitions after re-joining the LaLiga club following two seasons at Juventus.
The Spain international is set to become Chelsea’s fourth signing of the summer after the arrivals of former Manchester City goalkeeper Willy Caballero, defender Antonio Rudiger from Roma, and midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko from Monaco.
