Stoke City manager Mark Hughes is looking forward to taking on Arsenal and extending a positive run of home results against Arsene Wenger.

The Gunners need a win to maintain their prospects of finishing the season in the top four but on Saturday evening they travel to the bet365 Stadium where they have won just once in eight Premier League visits (D3 L4).

Indeed Hughes himself is unbeaten in his last eight home Premier League meetings with Wenger (W5 D3) during his spells in charge of Blackburn Rovers (one match), Manchester City (two), Fulham (one), Queens Park Rangers (one) and Stoke (three).

"For whatever reason I have always enjoyed coming up against Arsenal, as both a player and as a manager,” Hughes told Stokecityfc.com.

"They are one of the best sides in Europe, they have been for a while, and maybe that is why I have relished the matches against them.
