Meetings between Crystal Palace and Liverpool have produced some dramatic and unexpected comebacks that have made the fixture a compelling part of the calendar.

In recent years Liverpool have dominated at Selhurst Park, boasting an impressive record of 10 wins and two draws in their last 12 Premier League matches.

However, previous matches have shown that fans must also expect an upset, with late goals, wonder strikes and moments of magic.

Crystal Palace 3-3 Liverpool, May 2014

Palace fans have called this fixture "Crystanbul" in homage to Liverpool's UEFA Champions League final comeback nine years earlier in Istanbul, where they recovered from a 3-0 deficit to lift the trophy. The Eagles found themselves in a similar position at home to a Liverpool side in pursuit of the Premier League title. However, with 11 minutes to go Damien Delaney's long-range strike ignited hopes of a home revival that Dwight Gayle's quickfire double sealed, crushing the dreams of Liverpool fans and players alike.

Crystal Palace 0-7 Liverpool, Dec 2020

The champions strolled into Selhurst Park and put in a clinical performance in front of goal. The front three of Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Takumi Minamino had all scored by half-time. Substitute Mohamed Salah joined in on the action netting twice, with the pick of the bunch, a curling shot in the top left-hand corner that completed the rout.

Liverpool 1-2 Crystal Palace, Nov 2015

Palace became the first side to beat Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool at Anfield, the historic win cemented by defender Scott Dann's header from close range.

Crystal Palace 3-1 Liverpool, Nov 2014

The season after "Crystanbul", Liverpool again opened the scoring, this time through Ricky Lambert in the second minute with a smart finish. But once more, when Neil Warnock's Palace were in need of a goal, Gayle answered the call. The trickery of Yannick Bolasie was on full display as he twisted and turned through the Liverpool defence to set up the second for Jeo Ledley before Mile Jedinak's stunning free-kick secured victory at a rocking Selhurst Park.
