Brighton & Hove Albion secured top spot in Group E with a 3-0 victory over second-placed West Ham United at the Amex Elite Football Performance Centre.

Henrik Rorvik Bjordal netted the Seagulls’ opener with a powerful strike on the turn, before George Cox was fouled and James Tilley (pictured above) scored a penalty in the 41st minute.

Cox was the provider again for Brighton’s third, crossing for Aaron Connolly to convert from close range eight minutes after the break. Qualification was already secure for both sides before they met in Group E’s final match.

Brighton are next in Premier League 2 action at Aston Villa on Monday 13 March, while West Ham host Stoke City at London Stadium on Tuesday 7 March.
