Flashback: Leeds' Hasselbaink shines against Chelsea

It’s another busy and exciting weekend of Premier League fixtures as we head into Matchweek 26.

The weekend slate kicks off with a pivotal matchup at the Etihad between Manchester City and Newcastle United.

Man City sit five points behind league leaders Arsenal, while the Magpies have slipped to fifth after not winning in the Premier League since mid-January. They now sit four points behind fourth-placed Tottenham Hotspur.

Pep Guardiola knows that there is less room for error as his City side enter the final third of the Premier League season, and picking up a win against a top opponent could be crucial.

Eddie Howe’s Newcastle need to find their blistering form from earlier in the season, but a trip to Manchester will be a tough. A positive result, however, could set the stage for an impressive finish to the league campaign.

It could be an American-heavy affair on Saturday when Chelsea host Leeds United at Stamford Bridge. Tyler Adams, Weston McKennie and Brenden Aaronson have been heavily involved for Leeds recently, while Christian Pulisic has begun training with the Chelsea squad again and could return from injury for this match.

Chelsea are struggling to find their form, and have not won in their last five Premier League matches. Leeds picked up a massive 1-0 win over Southampton last weekend that moved them out of the relegation zone, one point clear of 18th-placed Everton. After Leeds defeated Chelsea 3-0 in the reverse fixture last August, Chelsea will look to earn their revenge at home.

NBC Spotlight

A historic rivalry will take center stage on Sunday when Liverpool welcome Manchester United to Anfield.

It's been a frustrating season for Liverpool, but a 2-0 midweek win over Wolverhampton Wanderers on Wednesday has seen them regain a spot in the top six. The Reds have won three of their last four Premier League matches and hope to carry that momentum into this match against their rival.

Manchester United have been on a tear in all competitions, including taking home the EFL Cup for their first trophy since 2017. Erik ten Hag’s side are unbeaten in the Premier League since January and they no intention of ending that streak against Liverpool.

You can’t miss this one. Watch the match on USA Network at 11:30 AM ET.
