Chelsea have announced they are close to agreeing a deal with Shakhtar Donetsk for the winger Mykhailo Mudryk.
"Chelsea are discussing terms with Shakhtar Donetsk for the transfer of Mykhailo Mudryk," a statement on the Chelsea website said.
"Should a deal be agreed between the two clubs then the Ukrainian international, who can operate as a winger or a forward, will discuss personal terms with the Blues ahead of a permanent transfer."
If Mudryk, 22, does sign, he will become Chelsea's fifth senior signing of the January transfer window.

Mudryk could make his debut for the Blues when they travel to Liverpool on Saturday 21 January.
Chelsea are next in Premier League action on Sunday at home to Crystal Palace.
