Hull City have announced they have parted company with head coach Mike Phelan.
The 54-year-old had been in charge at the KCOM Stadium since July, after the departure of Steve Bruce.
Phelan led his side to two wins in the opening three Premier League matches of the campaign, and was named the Barclays Manager of the Month for August.

He was made head coach on a permanent basis in October but Hull have won one of their 13 PL matches since.
They let a 1-0 lead slip to lose 3-1 at West Bromwich Albion on Monday, Phelan's last match in charge, and following Swansea City's victory at Crystal Palace on Tuesday, Hull are two points adrift at the bottom of the table.
Hull's next Premier League fixture is at home to AFC Bournemouth on Saturday, 14 January.
