Aston Villa have announced that Ashley Young is returning to the club on a one-year deal.
The 35-year-old defender has made 369 Premier League appearances for Watford, Villa and Manchester United, where he won the League title in 2012/13.

He returns to Villa Park having just won the Serie A title with Italian side Inter Milan.

"It feels amazing to be back, it feels like I've not left," he told the club's official website. "I've still got that winning mentality, that winners' attitude, that desire and hunger to go and win.
"When I see the squad here, the staff and the players, to have the opportunity to join this club again is fantastic for me and I just want to get down to work and bring my qualities, my experience to a young squad."
Young is Villa's second signing of the summer, with Emiliano Buendia already joining the club from Norwich City.
