Southampton manager Ralph Hasenhuttl will oversee the match from home after a member of his household tested positive for COVID-19.

Oriol Romeu is available for Saints having served a one-match suspension, but Danny Ings (hamstring) and Nathan Redmond (muscle) are major doubts and Jannik Vestergaard (knee) remains sidelined.

West Ham's Michail Antonio is closing in on a return, but Tuesday's match may come too soon for the forward. Arthur Masuaku (knee) is a long-term absentee.
