Southampton report no fresh injury concerns but Ralph Hasenhuttl says he may have to "manage the minutes" of his players over the festive period.

Sergio Aguero missed training after sustaining an injury in Manchester City's draw with West Bromwich Albion, but has since returned and is in contention.

Pep Guardiola also ruled out resting Kevin De Bruyne, who has played every minute of Man City's previous seven matches.

Southampton are looking to win back-to-back Premier League matches against Manchester City for the first time since May 2003 (a run of three), after winning this exact fixture 1-0 in July last season, bringing an end to a run of six straight defeats against them.

Ralph Hasenhuttl's side have won their final league match before Christmas in each of their last two seasons - both away wins at Huddersfield Town and Aston Villa.

Man City have won their last 11 away league matches with a 3pm Saturday start and have not lost an away Saturday 3pm fixture since September 2013, when they were beaten 3-2 by Aston Villa.

Sergio Aguero has been involved in 10 goals in his last 10 PL matches for Man City against Southampton, scoring six and assisting four.
