Newcastle United are looking for a second successive home win after beating Burnley at St James' Park last time out.

Manchester United are aiming to respond following their 6-1 defeat to Tottenham Hotspur.

Team news

Steve Bruce revealed Allan Saint-Maximin and Jamal Lewis are both available.

Matty Longstaff, Paul Dummett and Ciaran Clark are back in training but won't be ready for this weekend. Martin Dubravka has suffered a setback and remains sidelined.

Harry Maguire is a doubt for the visitors after picking up a knock on international duty.

Edinson Cavani is unavailable due to quarantine restrictions while Anthony Martial is suspended. But Alex Telles could make his debut.

Did you know?

Newcastle have won two of their last three Premier League home matches against Man Utd, more than they managed in their previous 13 against them at St James’ Park.

A goal for Callum Wilson would make him only the second player to score five in his first five PL matches for Newcastle, after Loic Remy in October 2013.

Man Utd can achieve a club first by securing a sixth straight top-flight away win while scoring at least twice each time.

Having lost this fixture 1-0 last season, the Red Devils are aiming to avoid back-to-back league defeats at Newcastle for the first time since 1987.
