Arsenal are playing their second successive London derby, having beaten Fulham 3-0 last weekend.

West Ham United are aiming to bounce back after starting their campaign with a 2-0 home defeat to Newcastle United.

Team news

David Luiz (neck) has returned to full training and could be in contention for Arsenal.

Sokratis (calf) could be back in training next week, while Pablo Mari (ankle) and Emile Smith Rowe (shoulder) target the end of September. Calum Chambers (knee), Shkodran Mustafi (hamstring) and Gabriel Martinelli (knee) continue their rehabilitation.

David Moyes is optimistic that both Mark Noble (toe) and Jack Wilshere (ankle) will be available for West Ham.

Noble sat out training on Friday but expects to be fit while Wilshere could be in line to face his former club.

Arsenal have won 10 of their last 11 home matches against West Ham in all competitions.

The Hammers are aiming to win their opening Premier League away match for the first time in five seasons. The last time they achieved that feat in 2015/16, it was at Arsenal.

David Moyes is targeting his first ever win at Arsenal as a manager in all competitions, at the 20th attempt. Only at Chelsea has he taken charge of more away matches without ever winning, having already had 20 unsuccessful tries.
