With one week to go before a reduced Gameweek 31 that will only feature four matches in Fantasy Premier League Draft, waiver wire claims should be focused on maximising the next two rounds of fixtures.

As a result, I've leaned towards players who will be useful in Gameweek 30 and also have a fixture in Gameweek 31.

GKP: Vicente Guaita (CRY)

Guaita is a top priority. The Crystal Palace goalkeeper has a favourable Gameweek 30 match-up against AFC Bournemouth, while a Gameweek 31 visit to Liverpool doesn't appear the daunting task it was a few weeks ago. Kepa Arrizabalaga provides another alternative. Although the Chelsea No 1 doesn't play in Gameweek 31, he visits Aston Villa in Gameweek 30 at the beginning of a favourable run of fixtures.

DEF: Pablo Mari (ARS)

Mari impressed on his Premier League debut and Arsenal benefit from kind fixtures in both Gameweeks 30 and 32, even if they do miss out in Gameweek 31. The Wolverhampton Wanderers pair of Conor Coady and Willy Boly are solid options if you need someone who is going to play this weekend and next.

MID: Willian (CHE)

Although Billy Gilmour is getting the headlines for his excellent performance last weekend, the young Chelsea midfielder isn’t much of a Fantasy prospect. If you're looking to target the Blues’ midfield, Willian is the most likely to both be available and to benefit from the 18-year-old's play.

FWD: Jordan Ayew (CRY)

The Crystal Palace striker plays in both upcoming Gameweeks but his availability is likely declining in Draft leagues given his recent returns. If you need a quick fix for Gameweek 30, Eddie Nketiah appears to have secured a role up front for Arsenal ahead of their visit to struggling Brighton & Hove Albion.
