Tottenham Hotspur are aiming to reignite their push for European qualification after picking up just one point from their previous three matches prior to the coronavirus outbreak.

Manchester United are four points above their hosts and will leapfrog Chelsea into fourth if they can win on their first visit to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Team news

Spurs are without Dele Alli, who is serving a one-match suspension, but Jose Mourinho has confirmed that Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Moussa Sissoko will all start.

Mourinho also hopes that Giovani Lo Celso will pass a fitness test on Friday morning but Japhet Tanganga (back) is definitely unavailable.

Marcus Rashford (back) and Paul Pogba (ankle) have recovered from injury and are in contention for Man Utd.

However, defensive duo Axel Tuanzebe and Phil Jones are likely to miss out through injury.

As Spurs head coach, Jose Mourinho has lost all three of his league matches against sides he used to manage, once versus Man Utd and twice against Chelsea.

Spurs lost their last home league match 3-2 against Wolverhampton Wanderers. The last time they lost back-to-back home league encounters was in January 2019, with those defeats coming against Wolves and Man Utd.

Bruno Fernandes has been involved in more goals, scoring two and assisting three, than any other Man Utd player since his Premier League debut.

The Red Devils are unbeaten in their last five Premier League encounters, winning three and drawing two. They have kept four clean sheets in that run, as many as they had in their previous 35 league matches.
