Norwich City are five points adrift at the foot of the table but their head coach Daniel Farke believes his side can pull off a great escape.

“It’s all in our hands and we have nine games and if we are capable of winning at least five we will stay in the league," he told the club's official website. "It’s still doable and possible."

Southampton, who are 14th, are aiming to complete a top-flight league double over the Canaries for the first time.

Moussa Djenepo serves the first match of a three-match suspension for his red card against Newcastle United last time out.

Southampton have no other confirmed absentees, but Friday's match could be too soon for Shane Long who is nursing a minor muscle strain.
