Arsenal are aiming for a third successive Premier League victory, which would leave them five points outside the top four.

West Ham United, who are outside the relegation zone on goal difference, are looking to secure back-to-back wins for the first time since August after beating Southampton last weekend.

Team news

Arsenal midfielder Lucas Torreira fractured his right ankle in the FA Cup win at Portsmouth, although it is not yet known how long he will be sidelined for.

Kieran Tierney (shoulder) is now in full training while Cedric Soares (knee) expects to return to training next week. Sead Kolasinac (shoulder) and Calum Chambers (knee) remain out.

Tomas Soucek (hip) has "a very good chance" of returning for West Ham confirms manager David Moyes. Andriy Yarmolenko (thigh) is back in full training but this weekend's match comes too soon.

Ryan Fredericks (shoulder) and Jack Wilshere (groin) remain long-term absentees.

Did you know?

Arsenal have won eight of their last nine Premier League home matches against West Ham. They have not lost at home against them since the opening day of the 2015/16 season.

The Gunners have scored at least three goals in 12 of their last 16 Premier League matches against the Hammers, including each of their last three against them at Emirates Stadium.

David Moyes is aiming for a first win as a manager against Arsenal at the 16th attempt. His 15 matches without a victory is the joint-highest number against an opponent, along with Moyes' winless record against Chelsea and Liverpool and Harry Redknapp's against Manchester United.

West Ham have got 43 per cent of their shots on target this season, the joint-highest ratio since such records began in 1997/98, along with Man Utd's record in 2018/19.
