We made it through the midweek EFL Cup schedule with little in the way of injuries to concern Fantasy Premier League Draft managers.

That's great for the quality of players on offer in Gameweek 11, but it does mean there aren't a lot of opportunities to pounce on a bargain.

In this situation, the best strategy is to look to short-term pick-ups who have favourable schedules.

GKP: Roberto (WHU)

Among those available, the West Ham United goalkeeper looks like he has a solid opportunity for a clean sheet. The Hammers host Newcastle United, who have scored just six goals in their opening 10 Premier League matches.

DEF: Joao Cancelo (MCI)

Cancelo has started each of the last three Gameweeks, although that may just mean it's his turn for a rest. With Joel Matip sidelined through injury for Liverpool, his team-mate Joe Gomez would be my second choice.

MID: Christian Pulisic (CHE)

Given their respective performances before Gameweek 10, Pulisic of Chelsea and Leicester City's Ayoze Perez are both likely to be available in eight-team leagues. Pulisic is my slight preference as I think the Blues will be more prolific, even if the American is more at risk of rotation. I wouldn't argue if you preferred Perez though.

FWD: Jordan Ayew (CRY)

The Crystal Palace forward remains available in many leagues despite performing much better than anyone anticipated. Forget Ayew's difficulties last season and focus on his production this year. He's worthy of a third forward spot in your squad.

Diogo Jota has returned to the starting line-up and faces an Arsenal side who Wolverhampton Wanderers are an ideal match-up for. I like him as a longer-term pick-up as well as for his short-term prospects this weekend.
