Crystal Palace are lying only two points behind the champions, whom they host at Selhurst Park on Saturday.

Manchester City are seeking to bounce back from their loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers by securing a win that would close the gap to leaders Liverpool to five points ahead of the Reds' visit to Manchester United on Sunday.

Team news

Crystal Palace are without injured duo Mamadou Sakho and Connor Wickham while two other players are being closely monitored.

But captain Luka Milivojevic, who served a one-match ban at West Ham last time out, could be in contention.

Kevin De Bruyne (groin) is available for Manchester City, who may also welcome defender John Stones (thigh) back into their squad.

Fellow defender Benjamin Mendy returned to training on Thursday, but Saturday's contest comes too soon for the Frenchman says Pep Guardiola.

Palace are looking to secure three consecutive Premier League victories within the same season for the first time since May 2018. The Eagles have alternated between a draw and a win over their last six home matches.

Man City have won nine of their last 10 Premier League matches in London, losing the other, and 10 of their last 11 away matches overall.

Jordan Ayew's three Premier League goals this season have been worth six points to Crystal Palace. Only the goals of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who has won nine points for Arsenal, have been more valuable.

Sergio Aguero has played six times at Selhurst Park in the Premier League without scoring. Only at Anfield, with seven, has he had more scoreless away matches at a stadium.
