Tenth-placed AFC Bournemouth host Norwich City having picked up seven points from their last four matches.

The Canaries hope to snap a run of three consecutive defeats and move out of the bottom three.

Team news

Adam Smith could be back for AFC Bournemouth having recovered from a hamstring injury, but manager Eddie Howe has "a couple of slight concerns" after a number of his players returned from international duty.

The match comes too soon for long-term absentees David Brooks (ankle), Dan Gosling (hip) and Junior Stanislas (hamstring).

Norwich goalkeeper Tim Krul is in line for an immediate first-team return after recovering from a back problem, says Daniel Farke.

The Canaries head coach also has Max Aarons, Sam Byram, Todd Cantwell, Ben Godfrey, Kenny McLean and Alex Tettey available. Saturday's match may be too soon for Onel Hernandez and Tom Trybull to start, while Grant Hanley and Ralf Fahrmann (both groin) are out.

The only previous Premier League meetings between these sides came in 2015/16, when the Cherries won this fixture 3-0.

AFC Bournemouth and Norwich are the only teams yet to keep a clean sheet this season. Norwich have let in the most goals, with 21, and have conceded at least twice in their last six Premier League matches.

Since they were promoted to the Premier League in 2015, AFC Bournemouth have had 90 matches in which both teams have scored. Only Leicester City and Arsenal have had more, with 93 and 92 respectively.

Callum Wilson has scored five goals in his six Premier League home appearances against promoted sides and is one away from 50 goal involvements in the competition. The England international has scored 38 goals, and provided 11 assists.
