West Ham United travel to White Hart Lane on Saturday in what Slaven Bilic has labelled his team’s biggest derby.
The fixture has a lot of memories for the West Ham manager. He made his playing debut for the Hammers at White Hart Lane in a rare victory for the club there.
Of the four London derbies West Ham have this season, Bilic told West Ham TV that none is bigger than facing Spurs and he is hoping it will provide a good start to a run of five matches that also features Manchester United, Arsenal and Liverpool in the league, as well as another trip to Old Trafford in the EFL Cup.
“That is always a big game against Spurs and maybe the biggest derby for West Ham,” Bilic told whufc.com.
“It is a start of five major games. It is important to start after the international break with a good performance.”
