Both of these teams are in the top half of the table, with West Ham United unbeaten since the opening weekend and matching Crystal Palace's run of three wins in their last five matches.

Team news

West Ham duo Manuel Lanzini and Jack Wilshere are available for selection but goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski (thigh) has been ruled for around three months and may require surgery.

Winston Reid (knee) is still not fully fit and remains sidelined along with Michail Antonio (hamstring).

Crystal Palace are without captain Luka Milivojevic, who is suspended after accumulating five bookings.

Defender Mamadou Sakho (muscle) is the only other senior player ruled out, says manager Roy Hodgson.

Since their 5-0 loss against Manchester City on the opening weekend, West Ham are undefeated in their last six Premier League matches and have conceded fewer goals in those contests, with four, than they did in Matchweek 1.

The Hammers have won their last three PL London derbies at home, last having a longer such run between February and December 1997, with five victories.

Since Palace’s PL return in 2013/14, no side have won more penalties in the competition, with 46, while West Ham have given away the most in that time, with 39. There has been a penalty in three of the last four league meetings between these sides.

Roy Hodgson is looking for his first PL away win against West Ham at the seventh attempt.
