Did you beat the Fantasy Premier League experts in Gameweek 3?

The FPL Experts Panel team comprises of some of the best Fantasy managers in the world.

And it showed as they claimed 60 points over an excellent weekend, moving the team up to 224,897 in the overall standings.

Pukki pays off

Their decision to bring in Teemu Pukki (£6.9m) paid off immediately.

Bought by over 1million managers for Gameweek 3, the Norwich City striker tallied 11 points, courtesy of a goal, an assist and two bonus points.

Premium-picks Mohamed Salah (£12.5m) and Raheem Sterling (£12.2m) joined Pukki in contributing double-digit returns.

Confidence in captains

For the first time this season, the experts entrusted Sterling with the captaincy, a decision shared by over 1.3million managers.

The Manchester City winger rewarded their faith with a goal and 16 armband points in a 3-1 win at AFC Bournemouth.

Salah returned to form following last week’s blank, netting twice and collecting the maximum three bonus points as Liverpool ran out 3-1 victors over Arsenal.

Poor points return

But it was a poor week at the back for the experts. Their four defenders and goalkeeper managed fewer than 10 points between them.

Despite Manchester United’s home defeat by Crystal Palace, the experts' second new signing, Anthony Martial (£7.7m), still picked up an assist.

Their team now has 191 points in total.

This puts them 4,437 out of 30,998 teams in the "Beat the FPL Panel" mini-league.

New No 1 of mini-league

Tinaye Christian Mudzudzu moves into first, taking over from Kevin Gilbert.

Tinaye’s side, "Team No Peace", sits in 30th place overall on 251 points.
