Thierry Henry's spectacular strike put the Gunners on course to return to the Premier League summit as he opened the scoring.
Freddie Ljungberg and Sylvain Wiltord added second-half goals.
Victory moved Arsenal to the top of the table on 32 points, one point ahead of second-placed Liverpool. Meanwhile, defeat saw Spurs drop to ninth with 20 points.
2008: Hull City 2-2 Manchester City
Hull City and Manchester City contested an entertaining draw as they both ended three-match losing runs in the League.
Daniel Cousin put Hull in front before Stephen Ireland levelled and then added a second with a stunning 18-yard shot.
But Geovanni equalised against his former club with a brilliant free-kick, and the points were shared.
The result left Manchester City in 12th on 14 points while Hull were sixth with 21 points.
