Chris Wilder has extended his tenure as manager of Sheffield United by signing a new three-year deal with the club.
The 51-year-old led United back to the Premier League last season as runners-up in the Championship ending a 12-year absence from the top flight for the Yorkshire club.
It was the second promotion in three seasons for Wilder, who supported United as a boy and represented them in two spells as a player.
He also led them out of League One with 100 points in his first season in charge in 2016/17.
"Chris signing a new contract underpins everything we are attempting to do at Bramall Lane," Sheffield Utd's chief executive officer, Stephen Bettis, told the club's official website.
"He's been the catalyst for our success over the past few years, he is a driven individual and his focus since promotion was secured has been preparing the club for the Premier League."
Wilder, who has signed Phil Jagielka and Luke Freeman in the summer transfer window, will continue pre-season preparations with a friendly match against Real Betis in the Algarve on Friday.
He will make his Premier League debut as manager at AFC Bournemouth on 10 August.
